Understanding Market Risk.::. http://cyber-anywhere.blogspot.com/

Market risks have little to do with a company’s overall strength,
and more to do with the affect the world’s economy can have on
the market.

***************************

The stock market is always volatile. There are risks involved in
investing your money in a company’s stock. Savvy investors take
the time to research the company thoroughly before investing in its
stock. But one risk investors often overlook is market risk, or the
volatility of one market and how it might affect another. This was seen
in February 2007, in a dramatic turn when the Chinese stock market
dropped a whopping 9% in a single day, causing a tidal wave effect
throughout the world. The United States Dow Jones Industrial Average
fell by 4.3% in the Chinese aftermath, its worst decline since the
terrorist attacks of 2001.

The International Organization of Securities Commissions urges
investors to take the time to learn what market risks are and how they
may affect investments worldwide.

Market risks have little to do with a company’s overall
strength, and more to do with the affect the world’s economy can
have on the market.

Interest Rate Risks

Changes in interest rates directly affect the value of bonds. As
interest rates rise, the price of previously purchased bonds falls;
while dropping interest rates will increase the bond’s value.

Inflation Risks

Inflation reduces a consumer’s purchasing power, which also reduces the value of investments.

Currency Risks

When purchasing stocks or bonds issued by companies outside of the
United States, any fluctuation in currency exchange rates can directly
affect how much a stock or bond really costs, and how much you’ll
make when selling it.

Liquidity Risks

The ability to sell off your investments at the moment you choose
can greatly affect your profit margins. Being unable to make trades due
to foreign regulations, not being able to find a buyer, selling at a
discount, among other reasons may cost you valuable assets.

Sociopolitical Risks

Worldwide events such as a terrorist attack, war, and even an
election can all affect investor attitude toward the market and cause
serious up or downturns. Worse yet, some catastrophic events can lead
to wide-spread disruptions in financial markets all over the world,
which can be risky for individual investors.

ICountry Risks

Country risks are similar to sociopolitical risks, with one
important exception: they are tied to a specific country and the
economic and political climate within it.

Legal Remedies Risk

When dabbling in the oversees market, keep in mind that problems
which may arise with your investment must be handled by that
governments market overseers, which may work very differently than
those your used to in the United States. This in itself can be very
risky for foreign investors.

While no one can completely avoid all market risks - that’s
what makes the financial market so profitable - there are a few things
every investor can do to minimize the risk.

Do Your Homework

Take the time to research all of the things that can affect your
oversees investments. Stay tuned to global economic trends and changes,
and be certain that you completely understand all of the trading
practices, regulatory practices and restrictions in investing
internationally.

Diversify

Vary your holdings by region, country, length of holdings (long term vs. short term), product, and sector.

Investing is always risky. But don’t let that scare you.
Oversees markets can be very profitable, as long as the investor
understands the ever-changing market risks associated with specific
investments and takes the necessary precautions.

Custom Gift Wrap – Promoting Your Brand.::. http://cyber-anywhere.blogspot.com/

With retail chain stores on every high street, there's never been a
more important time for independent retailers to find ways to promote
their own brand. However, whether you have one store or five hundred
stores your brand is central to everything you do to promote your
business.

A growing trend among retailers is to offer a gift wrapping
service. This is true both in the physical world and also with
retailing on the internet. It is possible to buy a huge range of stock
gift wrap papers. But, this has its disadvantages. Not only is it
almost impossible to match your company's corporate colours, but with
changing trends, a paper chosen today could be out of stock tomorrow.

A better solution for gift wrapping is to have your own gift wrap
paper custom printed. A simple idea would be to have your logo repeated
to make an overall pattern using your corporate colours. This will work
well with a particularly good design. A much better idea would be to
commission some bespoke illustrations that either reflect your store's
product range or possibly a seasonal theme. The company logo can be
included, but with more subtlety. This way you can maintain your
corporate brand whilst offering the recipient of the gift something
much more appealing.

Remember to give some thought to whether you are going to include
ribbons and bows when choosing your design theme and colours. Gift wrap
ribbons and bows will add the finishing touch to any gift. Do think
about how the fully gift wrapped present is to be packaged for posting
if you are planning to gift wrap mail order items. You would most
likely include the gift wrap materials along with the product for
wrapping by the gift giver, unless you are sending the gift directly to
the recipient.

Custom Gift Wrap Design and Print

There are printers who specialise in wrapping paper printing. The
same is true of designers. Initially you will need to talk to someone
who understands the different processes involved and being armed with
sufficient information at the beginning will help.

1. Do you require rolls or sheets?

2. What is your preferred paper weight? eg. 60g., 70g., 80g., 90g.

3. Paper quality? Kraft, Varnished, Metallic.

4. Paper size? Length and width of rolls or sheets.

5. Paper finish? Matt or Varnished.

6. Quantity of sheets or rolls?

7. Colours in design? Standard 1-4 colours, Pantones.

8. Type of printing? Flexo, Gravure, Litho.

9. Any special effects? Metal foil, spot varnish.

The quantity and paper finish required will very quickly dictate
what is possible and what is not for your budget. The budget will be
dependent on the value of the gift, assuming you won't be charging for
a branded gift wrap service. There are three types of printing used to
print wrapping paper. These are Flexography, Gravure and Litho
printing.

Printing wrapping paper rolls using Flexography. For simple designs
in 1 or 2 colours the minimum quantity is approximately 6 to 12 rolls
per design. Roll widths are typically from 30cm to 100cm and have a
roll length of 250m. Rolls can be cut and supplied as gift wrap sheets.

Printing wrapping paper rolls using Gravure printing. Minimum
quantities are often referred to by weights from 100kg for a single
colour and up to 1000kg minimum for 4 colour printing per design. Roll
widths are from 30cm to 100cm and in roll lengths of 250m.

A weight of 100Kg is equivalent to approximately 15 to 25 rolls,
depending on the paper weight and roll width. These 250m counter rolls
can also be cut and supplied as gift wrap sheets or converted into
consumer rolls. Consumer roll lengths are specified by the customer and
typically vary from 1m to 5m in length.

Printing wrapping paper using Litho printing. Gift wrapping paper
is relatively thin, 60-90g, and not many printers like to put such thin
paper through their litho printing presses. Some will print on thicker
paper. This isn't normally recommended as it makes wrapping gifts more
difficult. A 90g matt white paper provides an ideal base for printing
gift wrap designs and is thick enough for litho printing if you can
find a supplier that will do it. The most popular sheet size is 500m x
700mm or very close, depending on the printing press and country of
supply. Typical minimum quantity is 1000 sheets per design.

There are definite advantages to printing litho. With low print
runs possible and high quality multi-colour printing, the starting
price for being able to print multiple designs is kept low. With some
creativity a wonderful selection of designs is possible while including
a central branded look.

Press Releases: Misconceptions to Avoid and Guidelines to Follow!.::. http://cyber-anywhere.blogspot.com/

Writing a press release use to scare the willies out of me but not any
more. Once I finally learned exactly what a press release was and who I
should aim my correspondence to, things got a whole lot easier very
quickly, and they will for you too.

Let's examine what a Press Release really is and some of the
misconceptions that I had before being educated the right way. Press
Release, as defined by wikipedia.com is: "A news release or press
statement written or recorded communication directed at members of the
news media for the purpose of announcing something claimed as having
news value". This definition is extremely accurate and tells you what a
Press Release is.

The critical component in writing an effective Press Release is to
understand that you are not writing an advertisement for a general
audience or a word story to a publication. And this is where one of the
misconceptions comes into play. Many professionals and small business
owners get this part wrong and it obviously causes major frustration
when they their Press Release does not render the interests they were
counting on.

Writing a Press Release requires that you gear your written text to
the news media; after all, they are the specific group that you are
trying to reach so they are who you must write your Press Release to.
The objective of writing your Press Release should be to WOW a
reporter. Write intriguing and captivating text about your news of
value. If a reporter is wowed, surprised or captivated by your press
release, then you are much more apt to get the attention you are
expecting.

I am including a general guideline below that will help you create and disperse a successful press release to the media.

1. It is imperative that you draft a well written and formatted
press release. Format can be the first hint to a reporter that the
information you are sending is not relative to their audience. You can
overcome this possibility if you take the time to properly format your
press release according to acceptable standards. So, what should you
include in your press release?

- Include your Time Line - The first thing you want to be seen on your
press release should be the time you wish it released. Let the media
know if you want the news to be released immediately if that's the
case. (For Immediate Release!) Tell the media that you want your news
released at a predetermined time. (Release the first week of January!)
If you want your news released with a seasonal deadline, state so>
(Release before Christmas!)

- Don't forget your Contact Information - Next, you need to include
your complete contact so as not to make it difficult for the media to
follow-up with you. Often times, with a well written press release,
reporters may wish to interview you for a story they are going to
release about your business. That's when taking the time to write a
proper and well written press release really pays off in dividends.

- Headlines, Headlines Headlines - Then consider the significant
importance of your headline! As in all types of advertising
copywriting, the headline is the most important component of the entire
press release. If you don't grab the attention of the reader in the
first few seconds (yes, that's all the time you have), then the primary
purpose and objective of writing your press release will be lost. Take
the time to write out 6-10 headlines: I subconsciously think about this
element while I am doing my research as it makes it easier for me to
come up with viable possibilities. Write them down as they come to you,
then once you have completed the writing of the press release, come
back to them and see which one knocks your socks off. Show your list to
family and friends and determine which ones they think say the most.
These few extra steps could make the difference between a great press
release and a totally ineffective press release.

-Include a dateline when you are beginning the body of your text.
Tell the reader the date you are sending your release to them and the
city and state of origin. (June 27, 2007 - City Here, Montana - start
the text of the first paragraph here.)

-Always double space the body of the press release. It's much
neater in a appearance and is not so congested that the reporter cannot
even read it.

-Use Quotes and Give Credit - It perfectly satisfactory to use
quotes from learned experts in the field you are writing the press
release about. It will help you establish credibility for your news
release.

- Include a Call To Action - I recommend that you always include a
Call To Action. What do you want the end result of your press release
to accomplish? Do you want someone to call a phone number for more
information; do you want someone to visit your retail location for a
new sale or is it that you want everyone to visit your new website and
find out just how great the information you have to share really is.
So, Include a Call To Action.

-The Closing comes last - In North America, traditionally the
symbol "-30-" is inserted after the body and before the media contact
information to indicate that the release is ending. A more modern
substitute is to use the pound sign (###).

-Include the Media Contact Information - include name, phone
number, land address, email address and any other pertinent information
for each PR person you send your press release to.

2. Target Your Market - It will do you no good to send your news
release to a reporter specializing in Sports when your news release
deals with Internet Marketing. Always target the reporters you want to
receive your press release. I also recommend that you actually do some
research and find out the names of the reporters most focused on your
business area. Always address your press release to the reporters you
have located from your research. Always target the recipients of your
press release to best suit your business needs. You may even want to
write dedicated releases to each reporter so as to better explain
yourself since each reporter will have different values which they use
to determine whether or not your press release warrants their
attention. Remember, anything you write to anyone that is personalized
will stand a better chance of success.

3. Relationship building will pay you hugh benefits in the long
run. Now that you have gone to all the trouble to locate the reporters
that specialize in your niche, then work on establishing a solid
working relationship with them. You may be surprised at just how much
good this will do you in time. Reporters are constantly looking for new
story lines: it you have a good consistent relationship with your niche
reporters they will look upon you as an expert in that niche. And who
better then an expert ,YOU, to do niche specific interviews with. So,
build a solid relationship with the reporters you locate. It will also
give you a heads up any time in the future you want to send out a new
press release.

4. Do not send releases to reporters that sound like a blatant
advertisement. Press releases are used to release something that is
truly newsworthy. You will not get to first base if you send out an
advertisement. Keep the context of your release factual and deliver
your message without flair and fanfare. Eliminate heavy descriptive
terminology such as describing your product or service as amazing, or
stupendous or the like. Keep you text down to basic factual
terminology. But do tell a good story too. Reporters like to read a
good story and good stories are written with interesting language will
sell the reporter on publishing your press release.

In summary, wikipedia.com says this very well: News releases have
been a large source of criticism against various types of journalists,
who sometimes rely on them heavily. Many articles in the business
press, particularly, are little more than recycled press releases. Some
people criticize writers for creating articles in this way, contending
that it constitutes free advertising for the company on whose behalf
the news release was issued, especially if it is not contrasted with
criticism of that company or product in the same article. On the other
hand, few dispute that news releases remain a valuable way for media to
be made aware of new products and services, and recent and upcoming
events of interest.

Internet Marketing In Asia .::. http://cyber-anywhere.blogspot.com/

For most people, internet marketing is a money making industry. In
reality, internet marketing is about developing oneself on a regular
basis. If you are involved in internet marketing, you will have to pay
attention to some of the intermediate strategies that are being used -
especially if you are a beginner.

I'd like to just share a few intermediate to advanced strategies
you can use in order to enhance your internet marketing efforts,
whether you are selling internet marketing itself or not. Hopefully,
you can leverage internet marketing to enhance your income in the
shortest span of time.

Strategy #1 - Maximizing Your Productivity

Many internet marketers go solo on this. I would say that in order
for you to create the most amount of leverage, you will have to master
your productivity. It's important for you to find outsourced talent.
Places such as elance.com may prove to become too expensive, so it's
more viable to look to two particular sources that I find much cheaper
and just as reliable. First, you should seek out specific talent
forums. If you need a programmer, go to programmer forums. If you need
an affiliate manager, go to affiliate forums. If you need a designer,
then design forums are probably a better bet. The second is to look for
a local university and seek out those within the talent space you need
to hire. Bright, young individuals might actually have something to
prove and do a really good job!

Don't just outsource! Manage your talent, help them to grow and
train them up to become better. Point them to the right resources and
you'll realize that they will be more willing to assist you in doing
even bigger projects online.

Strategy #2 - Automated traffic mechanisms

If you have not got a series of automated traffic, you will
probably find that it is difficult to generate traffic. Each of my
sites is typically optimized on the search engines. If you want to
learn more about Search Engine Optimization, there are plenty of
courses that are available online, not to mention some really good SEO
forums.

On the forums at InternetMarketingSingapore.com/101traffic.html,
there are some 103 ideas on generating traffic. You just need to go in
there and identify the 5 best ways for you to do this, then keep at it
for a while.

Strategy #3 - Focus on a the 4-hour Work Week!

If you haven't already, you should pick up a copy of Timothy
Ferriss' "4-Hour work week". He mentions two things that struck me
right from the start. For instance, what are the 20% of the things that
create for you 80% of the results? And what are 20% of the things that
you do that create 80% of your problems? If you focus on answering
these, you should be more effective in understanding your productivity
cycle and move closer toward overall business improvement!

:Getting Started in Ebay Marketing: cyber-anywhere.blogspot.com

If you have ever read an article on eBay, you'll have discovered the
type of income people earn - it isn't strange to find out about people
earning thousands of dollars per month on eBay.

Next time you are surfing the eBay site, check out how many
PowerSellers there are: you'll find quite a few. Now think about the
fact every single one of one of them must be making at least $1,000 per
month, as that's eBay's requirement for becoming a PowerSeller. Silver
PowerSellers make at least $3,000 monthly, while Gold PowerSellers make
more than $10,000, and the Platinum level is $25,000. The top level is
Titanium PowerSeller, and to measure up you must make at least $150,000
in sales each month!

It's hard to believe that Ebay has been around for ten years. eBay
started in September 1995, by a man named Pierre Omidyar, who was
residing in San Jose, California. He envisioned his site - formerly
known as 'AuctionWeb' - to be an internet mart, and composed the first
code for it in one weekend. It was one of the first sites of its type
on the planet. The name 'eBay' follows from the domain Omidyar applied
to his internet site His company's name was Echo Bay, and the 'eBay
AuctionWeb' was formerly just one part of Echo Bay's website at
ebay.com. The first product ever traded on the site was Omidyar's
defective laser pointer, which sold for $14 .

The web site rapidly became hugely popular, as vendors arrived to
auction off all sorts of strange things and buyers actually purchased
them. Relying on faith appeared to work out outstandingly well, and
implied that the web site could just about be left alone to run itself.
The internet site had been configured from the beginning to take in a
small fee on every sale, and it was this revenue that Omidyar applied
to finance AuctionWeb's expansion. The fees speedily totaled up to more
than his salary at the time, so he resolved to quit his job and devote
attention to the site full-time. It was at this point in time, in 1996,
that he added the feedback capability, to let buyers and sellers rate
one another and make purchasing and trading safer.

In 1997, Omidyar modified AuctionWeb's - and his company's - name
to 'eBay', which is what people had been using to refer to the site for
awhile. He started to spend a great deal of money on promotion, and had
the eBay logo created. A milestone was reached in this year - the
one-millionth item was sold (it was a miniature version of Big Bird
from Sesame Street).

Then, in 1998 - the peak of the dot com company boom - eBay became
big business, and the investment in Internet businesses at the time
allowed it to bring in senior managers and business strategists, who
took in public on the stock market.

It began to encourage people to trade more than only collectibles,
and rapidly morphed into a huge site on which you could trade anything,
big or little. Different from the other websites, though, eBay endured
the final stage of the bonanza, and is still going strong nowadays.

1999 saw eBay go worldwide, unveiling sites in the UK, Australia
and Germany. eBay purchased half.com, an Amazon-like internet retailer,
in the year 2000 - the same year it inaugurated Buy it Now - and bought
PayPal, an internet payment service, in 2002.

Pierre Omidyar has now cleared an estimated $3 billion from eBay,
and still serves as Chairman of the Board. There are now literally
millions of items bought and sold every day on eBay, all over the
world. For every $100 spent online worldwide, it is estimated that $14
is spent on eBay - that's a lot of laser pointers.

The fact that these PowerSellers are around gives you some idea of
the money possibilities on Ebay. Most of the power sellers never
intended to even launch a commercial enterprise on eBay - they merely
began trading a couple of items, and then continued. There are quite a
lot of people whose full-time job is merchandising items on eBay, and
some of them have been working at it for years now. Can you believe
that? Once they've purchased the merchandise, everything else is
basically pure profit for these people - they don't need to spend money
on any business premises, employees, or anything else. There are
multi-million dollar commercial enterprises earning less in genuine net
income than eBay PowerSellers do.

Even if you do not want to resign from your line of work and really
try for it, you can use all the same eBay to make a substantial
supplemental income. You can package customer purchases during the week
and bring them to the local post office for shipping each Saturday.
There are few other things you could be doing with your free time that
have anywhere close to that kind of money-making potential.

What's more, eBay could care less about who you are, where you
reside, or if you are good-looking. Some PowerSellers are very old, or
very young. Some live out in very rural areas where selling on eBay is
one of the few options to agriculture or being very impoverished. eBay
levels the playing field and removes the roadblocks to earning that the
real world constantly erects. There's no job interview and no traveling
back and forth involved - if you can post items on the site, you can
make it happen!

Put it this way: if you know where to acquire something fairly
inexpensively that you could sell, then you can sell it on eBay - and
because you can always get discount rates for mass purchases at
wholesale, that's not hard. Purchase a job lot of something in-demand
inexpensively, sell it on eBay, and you are earning cash already, with
no set-up expenses.

If you wish to try it out before you commit to really purchasing
anything, then you can just sell unwanted objects that you've got
sitting around in the home. Explore that closet full of items that you
never use, and you'll in all likelihood find you've got a couple of
hundred bucks' worth of stuff lying around in there!

This is the beauty of eBay: there is always someone who wants what
you're selling, whatever it might be, and because they have come
searching you out, you don't even need to do anything to get them to
buy it.

6 Reasons You Will Fail At Internet Marketing

Why do
so many people start an Internet Marketing business when the odds of
failure are so high? There is a lot of money to be made on the
Internet, but you have to be ready to do what it takes to be successful
in this business. Many people who come into this business are not
ready, they are the ones who mostly fall victim to the 6 reasons I will
go over in this article

One of the main reasons most people fail at Internet Marketing is
because they have unrealistic expectations. They fall for all the HYPE.
They expect to get into this business, do very little work and make
tons of money. If only it were that easy!! Many have no idea what it
takes on a daily basis to build this business.

Another reason is that many people do not have the mental toughness it
takes to run this type of business. You have to be willing to do what
ever it takes to build this business. You basically have to retrain
yourself to have the will power to put all the extra hours in to make
this work. In the beginning is not unusual to work up to 16 to 18 hours
a day just to learn the business and try to make some money.

A lack of effort is another big reason most people fail. Along with not
having the mental toughness to do what ever it takes to build this
business, most people simply just lack the effort to want to build a
business. As mentioned above many join thinking they will make tons of
money with little or no effort on their part. This trait has no place
in this business or any other business for that matter. It really
doesn't work too well in the J.O.B. market either. (just over broke).

Not having a good sturdy business plan leaves you with a good plan to
fail. Your business plan is what keeps you going in the direction that
you need to be going. With out it, as far as I am concerned you will
just be spinning your wheels. Not really knowing in which direction you
are headed.

Inadequate funding will cause you to fail at this business. What I mean
by this is, if you go out and order or buy every program that you run
into you will spend a ton of money fast. I am not saying that you need
to have a lot of money to make money in this business. Quite frankly
there are many ways that you can market your business for free. So this
reason causing you to fail will depend on how good you are at handling
your money.

Now the biggest reason, In my opinion is the lack of commitment. First
and foremost you have to be committed to your desire to be in a better
position financially. This is why, by the way most of us got into this
business to begin with. To make more money.
Your commitment has to be at the level where you are willing to do what
ever it takes to build this business. It is a huge commitment but it
really is worth it when yo start to see the results of all your hard
work

As you can see it is not really difficult to turn these 6 reasons for
failure, into 6 reasons that will help you build a good profitable
business. Just remember it takes a big commitment and a lot of time
time and effort to build this great Internet Marketing business.

How To Gain Link Popularity Through Article Writing

So you
just completed your nice looking website and your ready to make some
money. There is only one problem. Nobody knows that your site exists.
There are many things that you can do to correct this. But I am going
to talk only about one of them. This is probably the most important
tool you have that will bring you quality traffic. What I will be going
over is How To Gain Link Popularity Through Article Writing.

First of all you will need to write a few good quality articles with
content that is relevant to your niche market. By writing various
articles on any subject you will begin to establish your self a an
expert on that subject. Writing just one article will not accomplish
this, you have to write articles on a consistent basis. This may seem
difficult at first, but the more articles you write the easier it gets
to write them.

Secondly you need to search for free content article directories to
submit your articles to. This is easily done. All you have to do is
Google article directories, and you will pull up a lot of directories.
Now all that is left is for you to submit your articles. Remember you
must always include your resource box at the end of every article that
you submit. Within this resource box you need to include a few eye
catching sentences, along with a hyperlink to your website. By doing
this your article will start to spread through out the Internet, also
building your link popularity.

Another way to gain link popularity is by creating your own article
directory and linking it to your website. By having your own directory
you will have a place to post your own articles, other than your main
site and blog. Also a directory creates back links from every persons
site that has posted an article. Another great benefit of having your
own directory is that other webmasters will now be going to your site
looking for fresh content for their sites. You can see how your traffic
will start to grow.

Submitting your articles to directories can bring you tons of traffic
and back links. But this will not get accomplished by submitting to
just a few. You need to submit to a lot of directories and this is very
time consuming. There are 3 ways you can accomplish this. One is to
submit everywhere manually, which will take up a lot of your time plus
its free. Another way is to join an article submission service. By
paying a submission service your articles will automatically be
submitted to virtually hundreds of directories and e-zines. There are
also free submission services. You should do some research on them
before using them, but they also do a great job of submitting your
articles.

As you can see gaining link popularity for your site is not that
difficult. It does take some time and effort in the beginning to get
every thing set up. But once you get going it really does get easier.
One thing to remember is that it does take a little bit of time before
you start to see the links grow. A really good way to look at this is
that you are planting the seeds that will grow to bring you profits. By
doing these steps you will see your business begin to steadily grow.

5 Ways To Promote Your Online Business For Free

As you
know the cost of promoting your business is just outrageous. This is
especially true if you are just starting out. You get into this
business to make money and right off the bat you are being asked to
spend hundreds of dollars to promote your site or business. And in
doing so there really is no guarantee that you will get visitors to
your site let alone customers that are ready to buy. Fortunately, I
will be going over 5 ways you can promote your online business, and the
best part is that all 5 ways are absolutely free, well almost they will
cost you some time.

One of the first ways you want to promote your business is to write and
submit a press release. There are many press release sites that you can
submit to for free. What you want to do is write a good informative
story about your business. It would also be a good Idea to include some
information about you and how you came about starting your business.
This is a great way to get some interest and exposure to your business.

Next would be using traffic exchanges. Traffic exchanges are good in
that they give your business exposure to others trying to promote their
own business. What you are basically doing in traffic exchanges is
surfing for traffic, at the same time there are hundreds of others that
are doing the same thing. The more you surf the more credit you get. As
your credits grow so does the amount of times your page is shown. This
is a good way to get traffic to your site and a great way to build your
list.

Online forums are also another great way to promote your business. In
forums you will find a wealth of information from members who have been
in business for a while. The forum community is a great place to share
ideas and get feedback on your own projects. As you grow in the forums
you will find that you start giving advice to newbies who ask
questions. This happens fairly quickly. One thing to remember about
forums is that they are not a place to advertise your sites. You do
promote by having your signature file. It is included at the end of
every post. Your signature file links to your site, so the more active
you are in the forum the more trust you build. This will cause people
to click on your links.

Blogging is another excellent way to promote your site. All you need to
do is set up a blog and submit to it every day. After each post or
update make sure you ping the site so that it gets submitted to blog
directories. Another great way to use blogging is to surf other blogs
that have content relevant to your site. Read different posts and
submit comments to the posts. At the end of your comments make sure
that you include a link to your site or blog this way people who read
your comments and like what you have to say they will probably visit
you site.

Finally there is article writing. This is probably my favorite way of
generating traffic. The more articles you write and submit to
directories the more traffic and back links you will build for your
site. Also article writing is a great way for you to learn about the
subject you are writing about. If you want to write about a subject and
do not know too much about it, all you have to do is a little research
before you write the article. After writing a few articles on the same
subject you start to distinguish yourself as an expert in that area.
That is a good shot to your credibility.

As you can see these 5 ways to promote your business are pretty good
but they do take some time to complete. As they say nothing really is
free. But I can tell you from experience putting the time in to do
these 5 things consistently will do wonders for your business. So what
are you waiting for? Get Busy.

Misleading Ways to Make Money Online - Personal Reflections - Part II / III

As I have written elsewhere, I never received any money for filling
of online surveys. I tried several survey sites and I made a little
paper money with many of them. But since it is below their payout
limits, I have no hope of getting anything from them.

I have also written why most of survey companies are a farce and that
one should stay away from them as much as possible. It is hard to make
money even from so called reputed companies.

Is it really possible to make money from surveys? My personal opinion
is that one should shun so called paid surveys. This is a sheer waste
of time, energy and one's hopes.

I made a little money by joining some local survey companies and focus
groups. They are not online and one has to go personally when called. I
am called a few times for participation involving 1-2 hours of my time.
The payment ranges from $40 - $100. I think I might have made about
$300 cash during the last year.

The problem with these companies is that they have many eligibility
criteria. They will ask you a series of questions only to be turned
down. Just on a few occasions one may be able to qualify. Sometimes one
of their conditions is that you should not have participated in any
survey during the last six months.

These survey companies have funny rules and I think for 50% of time, you will not qualify.

If one wants to do off line surveys and participate in local focus
groups, one may make an online search for local companies who do
physical surveys and pay cash after each participation.

One can make a little pocket money in a big city by doing one or two
surveys a month. One has to go there physically for one or two hours.
Cash is paid immediately at the end of a survey. This is better than
online surveys.

Whether off line or online, surveys are not going to generate any
worthwhile money for any one. These are just for using one's spare
time. Otherwise, there is nothing much to talk about them.

I would also urge everyone never to pay to these survey sites and never
buy any leads. Most of them are fraudulent. Survey sites offer false
promises and unnecessary hype for their own benefit. Ultimately they
are disappointing.

Paid Surveys - You Don't Need a Credit Card Or Paypal To Earn Cash

There
are many types of free paid surveys and offer websites on the internet.
Most of them do have trial offers available for you to try in exchange
for payment, which usually require a credit card of Paypal account. You
can quickly pad your wallet with these types of survey offers, but you
don't necessarily need to do these to earn decent money.

It is pretty well known that trying out services and products for a
trial period is a very good way to earn money, but it is not for
everybody. Maybe you don't have a credit card or Paypal account to
complete these kinds of survey offers, or maybe you just don't know, or
don't feel comfortable enough to do them. When you get familiar with
the different types of survey sites and what each of them offers, then,
maybe you can dive into this way of earning money from paid survey
websites, but if you are just starting out, it is a good idea to get
comfortable with the variety of free survey offers that are available
to you.

The free paid survey offers are endless when you first start out. There
are so many ways to earn here and there, but you must know which each
one is and what company they are for. Free survey offers include ones
that simply ask for your zip code, which will pay you anywhere from
fifty cents to one dollar. There are others that will ask for your
email address when completing a survey, and these also range in the
fifty cents to one dollars range. The list goes on and on and includes
everything from Insurance quotes to online magazines, which pays out
two to five dollars each time.

The truth of the matter is that these kinds of paid survey offers can
add up rather quickly. Sure, you will not earn the same amount of cash
as you would doing the trial offers, but it is a good start and will
still be well worth your time. The amount of companies that want to pay
you for your opinion will never go away. That is why you will not run
out of these types of paid survey offers. The average, legit paid
survey website has about two hundred of these types of offers on their
site at any given time. I stress the word "legit", because I hope that
you have an idea of which websites are for real and which ones are a
waste of time and possibly even a scam. If you do not know which is
which, I highly suggest that you find out this information, because it
will save you a lot of time in the long run.

The First Step to Creating Your First $1 Million: An Interview

Christopher Westra is an author of many books and the creator of the
"Holographic Creation" method of manifesting. He enjoys sharing light
and love with thousands every day through his web sites.

He received a Degree in Psychology from Brigham Young
University. He met his wife Casandra in his last Psychology class
and they graduated together and then got married shortly after.

He has studied mental and physical health for over 25 years, and
received his Doctor of Naturopathy Degree from the Clayton School of
Natural Healing.

He holds a Black Belt Degree in the Martial Art of Kyukido.

Christopher lives in Gunnison Utah with his wife and five boys.
He enjoys gardening, mountain running, reading, writing, and connecting
people with ideas through the internet.

Before becoming a full time writer and internet marketer, Christopher
worked with troubled youth, and then as a counselor in a prison.
He recently started the Perpetual Light Fund -
lightisreal.com/lightfund.html - to help budding entrepreneurs and
light workers across the world. The Light Fund gives a $100 award each
month.

Jinger: I've read your ebook, "I Create Millions". It's really an
incredible ebook with lots of solid tips on building your income and
getting rich. Would you tell us how you got the idea for this ebook?

Christopher: As you know, money is a topic people enjoy learning more
about. The articles and items I created about money achieved popularity
and I could actually track this through my website stats also. I desire
to give people what they want, so I decided to write an entire book
about creating wealth. The book contains 87 money mastery methods from
me and from other authors.

Now real wealth entails more than just money, and I desired to
encourage people to go beyond materialism to the durable riches. These
durable riches include spirit, relationships, emotions, family, and
wholeness. People think they want money but they really want peace and
loving harmony. Many of the money mastery methods help people to adopt
this increased perspective on wealth, and understand themselves better.

Of course people need concrete money management steps also, and I
provide these in the book as well. My very favorite money mastery
method is the one about "royalties" and "intellectual property". Owning
something valuable that people pay to use (money, land, houses,
ebooks), while you still retain ownership of the original capital, is
the source of much of the world's wealth.

This type of wealth just keeps flowing back to you without compulsory
means. My background is psychology makes connecting with people about
wealth so much fun, because I know what people really want. I'm just
like everybody else; we all want the same things. I've actually listed
these "wants" on my I Create Reality Site.

Jinger: Please give my readers a few tips on how to get started in business and building a million dollar income.

Christopher: Sure, the two tips I provide for all beginners are 1)
Follow what makes your heart sing and 2) Give true value and increased
life for others.

Following what makes your heart sing means doing what you love, as well
as becoming involved in projects and businesses that match your
talents, abilities, and interests. Don't just copy other people and
their "programs", but rather find your unique way to serve humanity.

My nine year old boy loves making pots and wants to become a potter. I
encourage him every way I can. If you want a successful business, then
build it around your interests. I love writing articles and books about
mind, spirit, and human potential, and I enjoy researching topics and
then presenting them to others.

Some of my boys may become internet marketers and writers, but I hope
only if they truly enjoy writing, computers, and creating web sites.

Secondly, don't focus on the million dollar income, but rather focus on
giving a million dollars worth of value. Think, "How can I give a
million dollars worth of value to others over the next few years using
my talents and interests?" People are only going to give you money if
you give them something of value in return.

The computer simply makes it easier because it's possible to connect
with thousands of people every day! The computer also allows you to set
up automated value delivery systems (such as with my downloadable
books), which you can't do when you make pots one by one.

Whatever your interests, just start! Take those first steps in boldness and confidence.

Jinger: What marketing technique do you find to be the most effective,
and how do you use it? Would you tell us one or two of your best
marketing tips?

Christopher: I've experimented with many marketing techniques and they
all work to some extent. I use viral books and tell a friend forms and
mind puzzles and split testing and lots of strategies.

The marketing technique most effective for my business is simply
building a big list of subscribers to my daily newsletter. Instead of a
customer seeing a sales page and either buying your book or not buying,
you persuade them to subscribe to a valuable newsletter.

In this way, you now can email them directly, with their permission! My
I Create Reality newsletter is actually a short daily one, and this is
too often for some people and they unsubscribe. But on the other hand,
thousands and thousands of others read my short inspirational message
every single day. I want to provide a bit of motivation and spirit in
their inbox to counteract all the negative they receive each day!

One tip on getting more subscribers is to use more than one form. I
collect subscribers from over 30 different pages on multiple sites for
my I Create Reality Newsletter. For my Internet Profits Newsletter, I
have about eight subscription forms now on separate pages.

Another tip is to use a different form on each page so you can measure
the actual numbers and percentages of people who sign up. For example,
my subscription form on my "quantum physics" article page displays a 13
percent sign up rate, whereas the form on the "invisible power" page
gets almost twice the sign ups at 25 percent!

Then you study the pages and ask "Why"? You can learn so much from this.

Jinger: What trends do you see in internet marketing? What do you see in the future of internet marketing?

Christopher: I foresee a huge increase into additional health,
alternative health, and beauty products. Alternative health will
provide great opportunities for those who can anticipate changes and
respond quickly to changes.

I'm a believer in and consumer of alternative health products and plan
to get into this field more myself with some good affiliate programs!
Consumable products allow a good internet marketer to gain continued
income from one good referral. Even my 14 year old boy pointed out to
me the value of consumable products, explaining how people will order
the same item again and again.

Another trend I see is an increasing difference between unskilled
affiliates and skilled affiliates. An unskilled affiliate merely
provides a link to a product. On the other hand, the skilled affiliate
"educates" the consumer about the product (and the benefits), and
"primes" the consumer and THEN provides a contextual link!

In order to succeed as an affiliate, you must "pre-sell" the customer
so that the desire for the product grows. One product I promote (as an
affiliate) enjoyed success from the very first try. I've sold hundreds
and hundreds of this high-priced item over the last two years, and
thought a lot about why this product enjoyed such success.

The reason is that I (unknowingly but sincerely), did a super job at
mentally preparing people to visit the other site. All I did is share
my love for the product, do some education, and give my results.

Jinger: What projects are you currently working on, and where do you plan to take your business from here?

Christopher: One fun project in development is "Make Your Day Light
Cards". These cards will contain beautiful pictures and inspirational
sayings, and can be sent electronically to your friends and family to
"Make Their Day." This project will require me to learn about databases
and dynamically generated web pages, so it's good I like to learn new
skills!

I'm also working on seven chakra meditations with images and sound,
about 60 seconds each, to help in balancing, spinning, and harmonizing
the chakras. Ideas float all over, and I have pages of ideas. Several
of my friends (other internet marketers) have sponsored Perpetual Light
Fund Awards of $100 each, and allowed me to expand that project! I
intend to build up my Light is Real site with articles and resources
until people come to that site first for their light worker studies and
needs. I also involve my older boys in projects, including income
generating projects (that excites them). They create downloadable
items, teach me graphics, and sometimes collect stats. I plan to
further involve them in the business as they are interested.

On a personal note, one project I'm working on is to move my office
upstairs. Right now I'm just in part of a big open room downstairs and
while I love the visits from my boys most of the time, sometimes it's
just too much! So we will convert a study/library into an office with a
little more privacy and I'm so excited.

Buying Orlando, Florida Properties and Real Estate with a New Home Rebate

If you're planning to build a new home in Orlando, Florida, don't
miss out on a unique benefit called the "new home rebate." Florida
buyers rebates are often left in the pockets of homebuilders because
the buyers don't understand how they work or know that the rebates even
exist. Obtaining a new home rebate is so easy that you can do it with
minimal effort and get thousands of dollars cash back for your new home
purchase. But first, you must understand what types of properties come
with this offer.

Florida New Homes

New home constructions in Florida, such as in Orlando, qualify for
the new home rebate. This means you choose the blueprints for your home
and a contracted builder builds the home from the ground up. To take
advantage of this rebate, you must go through a real estate agency as
your referring Realtor. You'll contact a Realtor that offers the new
home rebate before contacting a builder, and the Realtor will refer you
to the builder. The Realtor receives a referral commission from the
builder, and then you receive a portion of those commissions. Just make
sure the Realtor does actually offer the rebate before getting started.

Having a referring Realtor can help you in two ways. First, you'll
receive your rebate (an amount ranging from $2,000 to $30,000). Second,
you'll receive assistance from the Realtor, someone experienced in
realty, to guide you through the home building process. There are many
details you could miss if you're new to the whole thing!

Included in new home construction properties could be new homes in
golf course communities, vacant land, home sites or lots, resort
properties, luxury homes, and waterfront homes in Florida.

Preconstruction Realty

Preconstruction means you pay for the condo, town home, or
single-family home fully or partially before they are actually built.
This benefits you as the buyer and the builder. The builder is able to
secure financial stability throughout the project because he has money
up front to work with. You are able to secure your home or apartment up
front and sometimes even enjoy tremendous savings by paying in advance.
These types of properties also qualify for the new home rebate.

Florida Income Properties

If you're planning to invest in properties for income purposes in
Orlando or other cities in Florida, you can build new income properties
and qualify for the Florida buyers rebate. This gives you a steady cash
flow while preparing the homes or condos for renters to move in. Also,
you can use your new home rebate to invest in your next building
project. It's your choice.

Other properties that qualify for the new home rebate include new
second vacation homes, new retirement homes, and new executive homes.

Keep in mind that the new home rebate does not affect other buyer
incentives, discounts, specials, upgrade packages, or competitive
financing offers that the new homebuilder might offer. So, you can
enjoy your new home rebate without making any trade-offs.
